WWW and the Internet 2
www.whitehouse.gov is a nice webpage but I realy think they should have more options and also have an option to go to past articles. I like the picture and the flags. The articles that are writing on this seem to try and go for the heart of a person make you feel pity for the people in Taiwan which is good but also it seemed a little long winded.
www.house.gov well put together lots of links full of information that seems to be intelligent. The pictures and the set up are business like but seem to also be spiffed up to draw people to look at the page longer and makes it more interesting. I searched through the list of congressmen looking for a Vermont one and found Bernie Sanders when I went to the page it was well put together. Checked out a couple more pages for congress men and where done very nice.
www.senate.gov the best web page I have seen so far crammed pack full of pictures and interesting places to go it’s a web page people can spend lots of time on and still want to go back. Day to day calendar that keeps you posted. This is a page that will help people better understand senate and also will help with giving senate a better image.
www.uscourts.gov catchy pictures as you come in. I went into the Frequently asked questions to see how they did on answering the question very good seems they should but longer answers but there answers seemed to be well thought out and seem very intelligent.
Because the Internet is so accessible to everyone from large business owners to school students it’s sometimes hard to find articles that actually have valid information. Because so many people have access to the Internet some web sites that look like they actually have information about a subject could really just be written from the perspective of the person who made the web site.
There are ways to trace a web page back to the creator of the web page but sometimes people who spend all day on the computer know how to cover there tracks so you will be fooled. The Internet is a form of communication, in ever form of communications you know that some people will lie to you and it’s just finding out if someone is lying to you that gets hard.
